Shipping policy

Processing
Every order is made and packed by hand in small batches in Philadelphia. Orders usually ship within 2–3 business days. During busy holiday periods, please allow a little longer; we will email you if your order needs extra time.

When we ship
To keep chocolate from sitting in a warehouse over the weekend, we ship Monday to Wednesday. Orders placed later in the week ship the following Monday.

Warm-weather shipping
Chocolate is sensitive to heat. When temperatures along the delivery route are high, we pack orders with insulation and cold packs, and we may hold an order for a cooler shipping day or recommend a faster shipping method. We will always let you know before we hold an order.

Rates and delivery times
Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your address and the shipping method you choose.

International orders
We ship to selected countries outside the United States. International delivery times vary by destination. Any customs duties, import taxes or fees charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the recipient. Because transit can be longer, we cannot guarantee the condition of chocolate in very warm destinations.

Delivery
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout, or for packages left in direct sun or heat after delivery. Please bring your parcel indoors as soon as it arrives.
