I started Xoxoa in 2021 to understand what it would take for a person of African descent to succeed in the exclusive world of chocolate-making. Ironically, I happen to be born in country which at one point produced more that 50 percent of the world‘s cocoa beans, but has less that one percent of processing and producing chocolate. In my exploration, I have grown to respect the hard-working farmers who contribute so much to subsidize this multi-billion dollar industry. Here are my thoughts…
